Europäische Fonds für regionale Entwicklung

The European Regional Development Fund (EFRE) is one of the most important financing instruments of European cohesion policy. It was set up in 1975 to help reduce the disparities in the level of development between the various regions of the Union and to improve living conditions in the least developed regions. Particular attention will be paid to areas with severe or permanent natural or demographic handicaps, such as the northernmost regions with very low population densities and island, border and mountain regions.Number of Partnerships: 10
