VA Sierra Pacific Network (VISN 21) is one of 18 Veterans Integrated Service Networks (VISNs) in VHA. The network serves Veterans in northern and central California, Nevada, Hawaii, the Philippines, and U.S. territories in the Pacific basin. With 67 sites of care, VISN 21 provides comprehensive health care services through 7 VA medical centers, seven co-located community living centers and 56 community based outpatient clinics. All seven VISN 21 health care systems have highly successful clinical affiliations with prestigious universities in the areas of medicine, nursing and allied health professions. VISN 21 hosts the largest number of Centers for Excellence in VHA, receives the most research funding in VHA, and has collaborative relationships with it’s Department of Defense partners.
