This company has been established since 1978 under the name PT Asuransi Agung Asia, In November 1989 it changed its name to PT Asuransi SUMMA and changed back in July 1993 under the name PT Asuransi Umum Centris. In August 2010, all of the company's shares and management were taken over by a large group of companies under the VICTORIA flag – and the company name was changed to PT Victoria Insurance. Group Victoria is a national investment holding company with a portfolio of businesses including financial services, banking, agriculture, plantations etc. In 2013 the Company's Head Office occupied a new building, namely The Victoria Building. In July 2013 there was an increase in paid-in capital up to IDR 100 billion. In 2015 there was a change in the status of the Company to become a Public Company, and the company planned an Initial Public Offering (IPO).
