Currently, most AI products are built on narrow datasets. They fail to represent the diversity of the U.S. population and its care practices, and prevent AI developers from asking the right questions. The result is products that not only miss the mark, but also exaggerate human bias and health disparities. Dandelion is changing that by giving AI developers secure and ethical access to representative de-identified clinical data—including images, waveforms and structured health records—from several health systems. This data spans race and ethnicity, urban and rural patient populations, myriad care practices, and a variety of diagnostics and imaging platforms, so AI developers can build better AI products faster and easier.
